AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Five of us each paid £3 entry on a Wednesday night (Don’t ask why!) One of us was then thrown out before we even got in due to pulling bouncers on really bad attitude to a random female outside. A girl of our group was then assaulted by bouncers and thrown against a wall, her arm was cut open. I recorded bouncers giving abuse, and one realised the recording so purposely covered his name tag - clearly working illegally. This bouncer instead began recording us, claiming we would go viral on his snapchat! A supposed manager eventually came out, but was only comfortable giving a refund to two of us instead of all five. Claiming bouncers said they only kicked out two, even though I have video proof of all five of us being removed. Asked ‘supposed’ manager about bouncer who covered up badge and was told he didn’t work there - obviously lots of bang on stuff happening here! Three of us still waiting for a refund we will never receive. Pathetic. This isn’t a gay bar, or even a gay friendly bar. It’s the same heaven that it’s always been - a straight bar pretending to be gay friendly and failing. Bouncers and management are atrocious. Many better places nearby - ignore this place. When will the scene learn to hire decent bouncers and management? Rather than overweight men with god complexes? We need gay bars and gay friendly bars - not bars that make us feel more threatened than concert square. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
